***Sneak Peek*** Baby Aaron 1-Year Pictures

On Monday I met up with Brenda and Aaron to take their sweet, brown-eyed baby Aaron's 1-year pictures. I had so much fun! Does it get any better than interacting with a baby and capturing all of his sweet faces?

While we were taking pictures of baby Aaron making a mess with his cupcake Brenda said:
"Doesn't this make all your hard work worth it?".
My response was "YES! Yes, it definitely does!"
Photographing baby Aaron with that cupcake was definitely the highlight of the photo shoot. He was a hoot! We plopped him down in the middle of the busy playground with a blanket and a cupcake. He was the star of the park! At one point I turned around and we had an audience of kids! One little boy helped us get some smiles out of baby Aaron. It was that kid's lucky day- Brenda gave him her extra cupcake (after asking his mom of course)! The cupcake was a great idea. I'm so glad Brenda and Aaron decided to do it...and made it happen! I can't wait to have the entire shoot edited and online! Enjoy these sneak peeks in the meantime...

**Leslie and Charlie Dog** {Portraits} {Midland, TX}

Wow. Moving is a challenge...and we haven't even packed a single box yet. My husband and I have been painting for almost a month now. It might be a challenge but we are so grateful to have this challenge in our lives. It has been hard to balance my photography business and the moving process at the same time. I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head but no time to make them a reality. Don't give up on me yet! Keep checking back to see what's new!

In other news my co-worker, boss, supervisor, friend--she has many names in my book-- asked me to take her Christmas pictures this year. We had fun exploring this new location. I think it has become my new favorite spot. I love the colors of the house.
Charlie was such a good dog model! He was pretty distracted most of the time by all the new smells and sights but can you blame him? He is a dog!

Leslie's grandmother died in September so she wanted to incorporate some of her things, like the ring and scarves. I think those pictures turned out beautifully! It means so much to me to be able to capture a memory like that. One day, fifty years from now, someone might be looking at these pictures day dreaming about what the world used to be like...
